4th Genuss Film Festival

The Genuss Film Festival (GFF) is to take place over eight days in a few weeks’ time, providing lovers of good food, wine and films to indulge in their passions and learn something at the same time.

This year the GFF is to start on Thursday 3 May and continue until Thursday 10 May. As if eight days of indulgence were not enough, the Zug Gluscht culinary festival is to start the very next day and continue for three days, making use of the marquee used by the GFF. "Gluscht" refers to the appetising aroma emanating from cooking food.

As Matthias Luchsinger, the managing director of the Genuss Film AG company and member of the Gluscht Association of Switzerland and Liechtenstein, said, it was only right one event should immediately follow the other.

As in the previous three GFF festivals, primarily, films and culinary delights are to be celebrated. Youngsters have not been forgotten, with the “Cooking for Zug Schoolchildren” event taking place again.

The films chosen for viewing will be shown in the Seehof cinema over the midday period prior to meals served in the marquee, when aspects of the films and the preparation of the food will be discussed.
