Applications for sports weekend in Tenero

The Zug Office for the Promotion of Sport and Health (Amt für Sport und Gesundheitsförderung), together with the Centro Sportivo Tenero, organises an annual sports weekend in Tenero, in the canton of Ticino. This year, the event will take place from September 13th to 15th and will be held for the 13th time.

According to a statement from the Canton of Zug, the organisation is consciously focusing on inclusion this year, for the first time. All participants can take part on the weekend with their individual requirements. “Doing sports as a family doesn’t just promote fitness. At the same time, it strengthens cohesion in the family, enables sports-active families to network and ensures inclusive coexistence," says Health Director Martin Pfister in the letter.

Note
The number of participants is limited to 40 people including children. You will spend the night in shared rooms. The registration deadline for the sports weekend is 30 June 2024.
