Landi looks to the creation of up to 22 new jobs

As previously reported, the Landi supermarket in Baar closed at the end of June, resulting in one employee having to lose their job. Now, as a result of the company opening new premises in the municipality and planning expansion in Rotkreuz, up to 22 more jobs could be created.

As the boss of the Landi Zugerland, Hans Bellmont, explained, the employee who had to be made redundant from the shop in Baar was able to find a new job before this branch closed, and indeed prior to 1 June 2017. What was also most encouraging for him to be able to report was that, with the company moving to new headquarters on the 13,220 square-metre Trichema site at number 4 Lättichstrasse in Baar, between nine and 12 new jobs are expected to be created there. Furthermore, with the business expanding in Rotkreuz, an additional ten new jobs are expected to be created there, too.

As Bellmont further confirmed, Landi Zugerland had been looking for a new site to open a shop in the vicinity of the Trichema site for several years, so it was particularly pleasing for the company that had been able to acquire these new premises.
